I asked this same question and no one reponded. I dont think its possible. More than likely they are keeping people from deactivating accounts so it makes it look like the game is growing and to show potential investors that its a big community when in reality half of the accounts are inactive. Kinda like accountants "cooking" the books.

if this game becomes as "profitable" as Evony i would imagine the kabam ppl will delete inactive accounts.
however, im only a user not a developer so dont take my word for it. i do know that particular families
create dummy accts because they only have 110 respect. not that many ppl quit that fast. perhaps
kabam does this as the illusion thing Frost mentioned, lol.
my point is something is ascue about it!

sorry you can't quit your account. you'll have to be a farm where people will attack your city 24/7 to pillage the resources of your city.

My account got hacked and i have so much stuff run off of this email that i just dont want to delete the email i want to get rid of my account because the person who hacked my account also got into my facebook and i dont even know who it is i need to get rid of both of my accounts

I'd also like to know if the mods have an answer to this. After a week's hiatus I've decided to quit the game for good, but can't find any way to do so! Maybe it's silly of me, but since I've actually put quite a bit of work into getting my estate up in the ranks (top 10 Tattaglia in the Mancini server), I hate the idea of just leaving it abandoned to be farmed by other players. Would much rather delete it entirely. Is there no option to do so?

And btw, the "unsubscribe" option on the newsletters/spam that Kabam sends me 3x a day doesn't work. Seriously annoying, and sure didn't help to convince me to return to the game any time soon.
